Movie Mistakes


Nothing in life is perfect. So in almost every movie there are made mistakes.
On this page you can find them. Now you can only find a few, but if you know more mistakes,

Bloodsport
- In the final final fight scene, When Jean Claude's fight Chun Li, His hair is dry and combed, then wet and sweaty, then back to dry so on and so forth.		- In a flashback to his youth, one of the bullies is wearing a Bartles and James T-shirt. Another is wearing Nike trainers.  Both are products that didn't exist in the early 70's. [Nike was founded in 1971].
- At the end of the movie it says Frank fought at the Kumite between 1972-1980. That would make his first fight in 1972. When Frank first meets Ray before his first fight, they play a game of Karate Champ. Karate Champ didn't come out until 1984.		- In the scene when the two FBI agents are chasing Jean-Claude after confronting him in the hotel lobby, they initially had stunguns. But in the street scene when they are running after him, the stunguns are clearly gone. even when the agents are running and the suits flapping, you still can't see it.
Death Warrant
- At the courtroom scene, the girl is calmly looking at Van Damme with her hands down, next shot, she's sipping a cup of tea.		- during the fight scene in the laundry room, a big green box appears and disappears on top of a white clothing container next to the yellow washers.
- At the jail bus arrival, the new African American inmate (with orange suit, as the other new ones) is getting off the bus handcuffed and wearing sleek black glasses, next shot, the glasses are gone.		- In the courtroom scene at the beginning of the movie, there is a guy sitting next to Van Damme. In front of him there is a cup and a plate close to his briefcase, next shot the cup disappears, next one it appears again.
- A fast editing makes a double kick on the face all the more impressive not to mention impossible. Get the pause button ready.		- Girl in distress has no coat on, then the next second, she has a coat on and someone from production pushes her to go run on cue.
Universal Soldier
- In the hotel scene when Luc Deveraux is crashing through walls to escape the other Universal Soldiers who are shooting from outside, one shot from the inside of the room shows him hitting the wall with his left shoulder, but when the camera goes into the next room to show him coming through that wall, he is breaking through with his right shoulder.		- When Luc and Veronica are on the prison bus and Andrew is chasing them on the truck of operations Andrew starts throwing hand grenades. Andrew throws one that lands inside the bus. Veronica has time to fumble around for it, she picks it up and throw it out of the window before it explodes. The rest of the grenades that Andrew throws explode in a couple of seconds like they are supposed to.
- When Andrew Scott shoots his boss he shoots him through his glasses in his eye. However the guys lens never breaks. His glasses fill up from the inside with blood.		- In one scene Luc is trapped in the back of an out of control prison bus. The driver has been killed but has, one must assume, died with his foot jammed on the pedal because the bus doesn't slow.
Hard Target
- When Jean-Claude is chased by the helicopter in the woods alongside the river, one of the man in the helicopter is firing a MP5 machinegun at Van Damme, but it causes huge explosions, this is impossible, it's not a grenade launcher!, (it might have being possible if it was in a steel factory)		- Van Damme is seen hitting one of the motorcyclist's with a shotgun before holding his falling body up with it. In the next shot we see a clear view of Van Damme, but his shotgun is missing, He then proceeds to pull out a handgun from the motorcyclists belt and uses this to kill a bad guy from behind him, but there are still no signs of the shotgun.
Street Fighter
- In this film, the actors say Ryu's name wrong. Some, like Ken, say Reeoo, which is wrong, whilst people like Guile say Ryu, which is the right way to say it. You would have thought someone would tell them how to say before hand.		- There are at least 20 Bison Troops in the room. There is one Guile. The guards have machine guns, while Guile has a handgun, with only 1 or 2 clips. Yet these troopers all miss him, even the ones on higher levels of the base, which give them a far better view of Guile.
Sudden Death
- In the last game of the Cup finals Luc Robitalle is on a break away. There is an aerial shot of the ice, showing clearly that Robitalle is the only one on the offensive half of the ice...a true break away if there every was one! Then, there is an ice-level shot, and somehow there are two defensemen that Robitalle has to beat to score.		- In the scene where Van Damme is talking to his son and telling him to stay in his seat and look after his sister for a while, in the background you can see the action on the ice hockey match is by the far left goal, yet in the next shot showing Van Damme walking up the stairs, you can see in the background the action has instantaneously switched to the other end of the ice.
- When Jean-Claude Van Damme is fighting the mascot in the kitchen, at one point he tries to push the guy's face into a vat of frying chips. Why would the chips still be frying if the kitchen had been shut down?		- When the mascot  has just killed a guard in the hallway of the sports complex. He drags his body into an elevator to hide the body. The "guard" is far to tall and lifts his head out of the way to fit into the elevator.
- The broadcasters in this movie mention that the game is a sell out, but on certain shots from the broadcast booth, we can see a completely empty balcony in the background.		- In the scene where Van Damme goes on the ice to play Brad Tolliver he punches the player with number 22, which actually was number of Christian Ruuttu, but the player who got hitted is called Dupinsky afterwards.
The Quest
- In the tournament fight scene where Van Damme and the Korean fighter face off in the semi-finals, the Korean fighter is announced as being from China, however in the first round the Korean fighter defeats the Chinese fighter. So they made a mistake by announcing the Korean fighter as being from China.		- During the fight scene between the pirates in the Andaman sea in Thailand Jean Claude is tight down in the "basement". In the next shot he escapes. Then there is a shot of the fight on the boat. In the very right edge of the screen you can see Jean Claude standing above the "door" to the basement looking around. So it's obvious that he got out of there. The next shot he comes out of it. strange isn't it?
Double Team
- When Quinn wants to escape, he takes a scalpel to slice off his thumbprint. A scalpel is a medical instrument, where did he get that from?		- When Quinn and Yaz jump out of the little sport plane, they use his little ball-parachute thingy. When it opens they just fall out. Technically, they would have been smashed like bugs into the ground.
- In the last combat scenes you can see Dennis Rodman firing an AT4 while being in the stadium, but if you know your guns, you sure know that there's at least a 15m minimum safety range backwards, or you'll get fried.		- Just after Quinn's escape he's going to visit Yaz the armsdealer. Yaz's "office" is located in Antwerp, Belgium. He then goes with Yaz to his old house, which I presume is somewhere in the US. No way could they get there by means of that little plane so fast.
- At the very end, when Quinn looks at this newborn baby, he has a little bandage around his right thumb. But earlier, when he was plotting his escape, he sliced of the thumbprint from his LEFT thumb.		- When Stavros gave Quinn a sliding atack, you can clearly see that he does'nt have any gun in his hands while walking toward Quinn, In the next shot he has a gun and Quinn hits his gun out of his hands.
Wrong Bet
-Just before Lyon hits the guard with a knife in his hand, the guard poses already to make it easy for him to hit.
