release for the movie, which was
acquired as part of a joint venture
recently struck between the Canadian
company and Britain's ContentFilm.

17.07.2008 Your opinion about
Jean-Claude van Damme!
In
1988, "Bloodsport", shot in Hong Kong on
a meager 1.5 million dollar budget,
became a US box-office! It made about 30
million worldwide and audiences
supported this film for only one reason:
Van Damme was sensational....
Today, 20 years later... Some people and
fans believe the career of Van Damme is
almost over... For others Van Damme is
still as sensational as he was 20 years
ago.
04.07.2008 Van Damme is a
Brand Name. He's like Levi's!
Recently
Van Damme did an interview with Metro.co.uk. He tells how he still stays
in shape now he's 47: because he is
enjoying training. ”I don’t know what’s
going on but maybe it’s because my mind
is becoming stronger and I’ve trained
for so many years. I rested for a couple
of years and I was kind of lazy for a
while but now I’m back with a very
strong attitude.”,
”Probably ‘out of shape’ for me is being
‘in shape’ for some people. After the
age of 40, when you stop training for a
few weeks, it’s a disaster; it takes you
longer to get back into shape. “
“I’ve been through a lot in my life;
I’ve been up and down. Being in shape
mentally and spiritually gives you a
simple view of life. We have a tendency
to make life complicated but it’s so
easy at the same time. Before, I was
chasing success, fame and attention and
I’m not chasing it any more. I believe
in destiny. I can smell my direction
instinctively.”
Van Damme also talks about his favourite
film: “Bloodsport is a great movie.
Timecop and Universal Soldier are also
good. I think all my films were OK
because they went in different
directions. I’m lucky, I started doing
action movies at the age of 25. Now I’m
47, I’m still kicking like a mule and
I’m as flexible as I was when I started.
My movies are international. Everybody
understands a slap in the face. In
Japan, Belgium or America, a punch is a
punch. I’m a brand name. Van Damme is
like Levi’s”
You already could find the number of
moviekills
by JCVD on this site, and now here is
the video. Hey: Arnold also appears in
this video...

designed to resemble a hang glider.
Passengers are seated four abreast in
individual cars suspended from an
overhead track. An "elevator"
style lift, lifts the cars up 180 feet
before sending them off on the 2,369
foot long course. There are no

"Lundgren And Van Damme Return To Universal
Soldier"
Internet is full of rumours. Today a new
one.
One of our most reliable sources tell us that Sony is in the process of developing some new DTV sequels, and one of those sequels will be Universal Soldier 3. Of course there’s already been something called Universal Soldier III. In 1998 a bunch of spare parts starred in a made for TV movie called Universal Soldier III: Unfinished Business. So they’ll come up with something else to call it, probably a title without a number in it.
The exciting thing here is that it’s not just another direct to DVD sequel with a bunch of replacement parts. Jean-Claude Van Damme, who starred in the original Universal Soldier, is in talks to topline this new one. Right now they’re developing it as a DTV project, but if they get him and if some of Van Damme’s other upcoming projects like Full Love do well, there’s a chance it could end up becoming a theatrical release.
There’ve been whispers that Dolph Lundgren may be involved too, though that’s little more than a
rumour at this point.
The original Universal Soldier first hit
theatres back in 1992, directed by now king of the disaster movie Roland Emmerich. Jean-Claude plays a super soldier who breaks free from his killing programming and goes on the run, pursued by another super soldier played by the muscles of Dolph Lundgren.
For now this sounds like its a project still in the early planning stages, and things can change. Until we can get more confirmation on what's happening with it from Sony, consider this a solid
rumour. Source: www.cinemablend.com
