A new website was born in 1999: "The Van Damme and Schwarzenegger Page"
 31 August 1999 was the first day online, but there was just a promo banner on it "coming soon...."

The site opened on 1 October 1999 and it's goal was the bring bring the latest news, pictures and much more about Arnold & Jean Claude.

It was hard to get a lot if visitors to the site: just about 30-40 visitors each day. After adding nude-pictures
to the site the site growed to 150 - 200 visitors a day in a no-time.






Because making a website is a lot of work I closed the site at the end of October 2002.
31 October 2002 was the last day online.

But because I'm a hugh Van Damme fan and in those days there were almost no good fansites about van Damme
 I decided to make a new website just about Van Damme. 31.12.2002 was the first day online for "FanDamme".
 In fact it was just the old "Van Damme and Schwarzenegger Page" but now only with the Van Damme content.

A new topic on the site was added in July 2003: "Van Damme for Terminator". But a lot of Arnold fans did not like it!!
On the biggest Arnold fan site online  - The Arnold fans - there was even a discussion about this topic, and I did get a lot 
of mails from Arnold fans: "Van Damme can't act!!!, Arnold is much better"

In January 2004, FanDamme celebrates his first birthday with a updated design:

In 2004 we started with the the DVD-galleries, often with more than 200 pictures.
Nowadays FanDamme is the site with the mosst Van Damme pictures.

A special date was 31 August 2004, because on that date I was making fan sites for exactly 5 years.
When you are making a fan site you are never ready. It's hard to make a site which is easy to update for the webmaster,
and also is easy to navigate for the site visitor. I did try it with a new design:






A few week laters, we did change the new look a little bit to make it easyer to find new updates,
because a lot of visitors complained about the new look.

In May 2005 this site did get an own place for fans to meet each other: The FanDamme Forum.

On 16 August 2005 this site was visited exactly 300.000 times!!

In June 2006, FanDamme moved to the servers of www.vandammefan.net, and that maked
it possible to let the site grow even more. Vandammefan.net is the biggest and
 most active van Damme community on the internet.



June 2006:



In December 2006 the site got an own url: www.fandamme.net, sponsored by
the official site www.jeanclaudevandamme.be.  In July 2007 the site did get a more optimzed design
and a more professional look.
